Reasons My Comics Store is Awesome #512
So, Impact Comics have moved to a new store, which is bigger, more central and doesn't have a narrow-ass flight of stairs*.

Upon mentioning the awesomeness of the new store, the first reason comics store guy (I don't know his name) gave for why the lack of stairs is awesome? The store is now wheelchair accessible. I thought that was rather tops.


*The only consolation was that it was less stairs than Ace, my store in Brisbane, which is also Awesome, it's just a bit of a trek from here. *waves to Pol*

The guys in Impact are pretty awesome.

I don't think having Impact Centrally located is necessarily a good thing. You see, before I could ignore its existence when I am broke... now though, I just wander on by pretty much every time I am in Civic.

I foresee... comic binges in my future.

Srsly, 3 years ago these dudes only had HALF the upstairs shop. Now they have a big Garema Place shop! Its pretty awesome.

Heh, well we pretty much only go into town when I have to go into Impact to pick up my standing orders, so I don't have so much of a binge problem.

It always seems to take so long for my standing orders to come in... one of the guys in there said that it probably wouldn't seem like such a long time if I wasn't checking on monthly comics twice a week.
